Another concussion

Poor Symone. Up until now she has been the only family member without one. But she went to school and as the day went along her headache got worse and she was nauseated and dizzy. She went to the nurse for part of the day. She also said it was hard to concentrate and had two tests. Poor kid is a good student and she said it was a real struggle all day. She said she felt so sick. When she came home she went to bed. Colt called me. He also texted me something precious. He does not spell well “Mom! Call me Symone feels worm!” Now worms are cold! He could mean she feels cold as a joke used a worm to describe this. But I know my Colt. That is his way to spell warm! Poor guy!
I asked him to feed Kodi. I got home and Symone was still sleeping. When I woke her she said she felt really sick, dizzy and her head hurts. This was worse than last night so I decided to take her to ER.

They did a CT scan. Whew! Looks normal. Gave anti nausea meds and we cam home.

Kodi was so sweet. He’d touch her and wanted to go to her. Also he kept signing “more candy” but we only had cookies and gave him those to him.

Kodiak signing "more" He was happy he was not the patient in ER. He was signing "more candy" but we did not have candy only cookies.

We brought his stroller. He fell asleep in it. The nurse that discharged us said you look familiar. I told her “remember Kodiak” she said “Yes! That’s why! Wow! He’s getting big!” I wish I had her name. Very sweet!!!

Slow go home on bad roads still. Snow packed with snow potholes. And in bed around 12:30 am. I woke up to Symone talking in her sleep. I tried waking her… I think she’s ok but she must be dreaming.
